1. Serial Experiments Lain

Some days after the suicide of a 14 years old girl, Lain receives a mail from the deceased girl. The girl tells Lain that she's not dead, and her soul now lives in the Wired, the nowadays Internet. Lain will investigate about the Wired and how is connected to reality, trying to reach her friend.

In Neo Tokyo, teenagers pilot giant bio-machines mecha named "Evangelion" into combat against beings known as "Angels", for an organization called Nerv. The series explores the experiences and emotions of Evangelion pilots and members of Nerv.
